Yet another Abstract render + lighting piece.

I just want to get this style working for me before moving on to a style like blackadde's [link] used in brownbird. [link]

I think I need to calm the negative space, otherwise I need some cnc.

sweet picture, I love the concept and design, but I wish there was more contrast and cleanliness to it. It seems a little "blurry" in some areas. Maybe lighten the lighter areas and darken the darks?

Some places outside of the focal are sharp (top-left, beneath the light), but most are blurry (below render / out of light). I did this to keep the focal point a focal point.

Loving the texture... the only thing I would try to work on is the jaggies.... maybe try putting the AA up a little higher, or use the blur tool a bit. Otherwise great job!

I like it, but it seems a bit too sharp/pixelated to me.
